What is your name?
Edwin
Where are you from?
Tahiti
How long have you been playing VSK? (incl. previous versions)
Discovered this simulation in late May 2015 and bought it less than 48hrs later
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
The format of "Tour of VSK" is really interesting. Best teams wear a specific jersey, which pushes to be efficient and consistent in getting good results.
Adding the fact that teams can be relegated or promoted makes the challenge even greater.

How old are you?
52
What sailing experience do you have?
My only "sailing experience" in real life was windsurfing as a teenager.
What do you have to say about your teammates?

With Goffe and Johan, my Blind Mice mates, we really enjoyed racing together as we always encouraged each another, even when one made a bad decision and  results were not as we wished. I think we managed to stay as calm and positive as possible
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
If this event could be run under the World Racing Rules of Sailing, with a protest committee, I think it will be better. But that is another chapter... for another day...
Will you be back for Edition 2?
Thanks for a very nice tournament. Of course, nothing is perfect but it gives us hope for improvement, I sign in for Edition 2.

How long have you been playing VSK? (incl. previous versions)
I started sailing VSK beginning of 2009.
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
My memory is excellent but a bit short.😊 Nothing very special comes to mind, except of course realizing we would win the tour.
Tell us a little about your life outside of VSK5?
Is there a life outside VSK? 😊 😊 😊
I am retired since many years and have quite a lot of time to do whatever I want. Really nice.  Music has always been one of my main interests. In “popular music” I can digest almost anything from ABBA to ZZ Top. I can also enjoy classical music. Two genres I cannot stand: Swedish "Dance Hall Music" and “Modern Jazz” jamming. The former
makes me sick and the latter is like listening to different musicians playing different instruments in different harmonies in different rhythms. Really heavy metal rock I find is more "very loud screaming noise" than music.
I also read quite a lot. Anything from old “classics” to more modern literature and even some scientifically oriented books.
How old are you?
68 years physical, 10 mental 😊
What sailing experience do you have?
I sailed my first regatta at the age of 14 with a friend in his “Blixtjolle”. We came 4 out of 12 boats and we were really happy. My family never had the means to get me a boat of my own and I mostly joined as crew. All through the teenage years I sailed all kinds of dinghies but also some keel boats. E.g. “Soling”. Later we, me and my brother, (Black Pete in VSK), raced in different keel boats. We were most successful with “Scampi 30”. A purpose-built “½-tonner”, later one-design class. Very popular, over 20 boats in every regatta. We won the “Swedish East Coast Trophy” a couple of years in a row with that boat. I “stepped ashore” many years ago and now concentrate on VSK and occasionally some RC sailing.
What do you have to say about your teammates?
Two really pleasant guys. Calm, cool and really good VSK skippers. We supported each other all the time. Best company you can wish for.
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
I think the concept is really nice. Ideally I would like to have RRS fully implemented, but I know that is hard to achieve without having more or less complicated protest and cancel procedures and a jury. Better to leave it as it is and try to sort out the “bad guys” some other way. Depending on the number of teams and groups the number of teams promoted and relegated might differ.
Will you be back for Edition 2?
Opportunity given, I definitely will !!!

How long have you been playing VSK? (incl. previous versions)
I've been playing VSK5 since 2013 and I've never played the previous versions
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
Probably the last race on the last day of the competition, we scored only 8 points and that guaranteed us the second place overall after being 4th for the previous 4 or 5 days of competition.
How old are you?
42
What sailing experience do you have?
I started as a kid with my parents on their cruising boat then on optimist around eight years old, I've always been sailing but with on and off periods these last years.
What do you have to say about your teammates?
Fred is a great teammate, fast and funny, always a pleasure to play with him.
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
Maybe race under World Racing Rules of Sailing with a protest committee.
Will you be back for Edition 2?
I hope so, it's a great event with a lot of very good skippers.

I think the first time I went online was in december, 2015. I was Nadeo for a few months, then because of Teamleague I bought the game.
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
You learn that the yellow jersey can get really heavy in the long term. It's a pity I missed the finals.
Tell us a little about your life outside of VSK5?
I work as a civil engineer in Budapest, I have a girlfriend and a newborn, and I'm still an active sailing-freak.
How old are you?
36
What sailing experience do you have?
As a little kid I got Dad's strong education of competition sailing. I was international level at a younger age in dinghy classes, then switching to bigger boats I raced all you can find on the lake, from smaller kielers to 40 feet Liberas and multihulls. Recently im sailing mostly Rc44 and Europa30, which is a classical Hungarian boattype. I have less experience on the open seas
What do you have to say about your teammates?
We all three are very competitive in real life , so there is a lot of fire in the team. Two big championships parallel can get you tired, when you are just three. They are fantastic guys.
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
Protest commitee, for sure, maybe a team of 4. I really enjoyed the format, the opponents and the courses, so I think there is not too much to change.
Will you be back for Edition 2?
Definitely.

I play vsk5 since 2010
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
I love the fact that teams can be relegated or promoted. It makes the challenges even increasingly demanding
Tell us a little about your life outside of VSK5?
I study physic at university to become physic’s teacher
How old are you?
20
What sailing experience do you have?
In real Life since i’m 9 years old, i sail particularly on multihull ( catamaran )
I did the SL16 world championship as being in youth french team.
Since 2 years, I sail on nacra 17 and flying phantom. I’d like to do a olympic prepa on nacra17.  Besides, i do match racing with my team « match’attack » as tactician and trimmer.  We are selected by Mathieu Richard, to prepare the youth world championship match racing in russia and european championship in italy.

What do you have to say about your teammates?
I know Andras and Baptiste since longtime !  They are really good skippers, they always look for the best of themselves Really happy to play in this team. We have to work again and again to be better next time.
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
Maybe it could be good if we use ISAF rules with protest committee.
Will you be back for Edition 2?
It was a pleasure to participate in this event. I hope we’ll have a second season ! See you soon.

How long have you been playing VSK? (incl. previous versions)
I play VSK5 since 2011 , ( I grew up with this game :D )
Describe 1 highlight (time you enjoyed most) in the event?
What I liked the most is fighting for jerseys , when we lost yellow and retrieved it the next week.
How old are you?
19
What sailing experience do you have?
I sail since 2004 . I sailed  optimist, open bic, then LASER at high intensity (5time per week during 3 years ) and windsurfing.
What do you have to say about your teammates?

I have really good mates that I met in real life for ZHIK and we will meet AK SUITED on the next summer in hungary. I think our captain AK SUITED is one of the bests skipper of the game , he taught us a lot but still a long way to go for reach his level.
Describe 1 thing you would improve or change about the event?
For edition 2 I would like to sail less races in light wind , for me it is a bit too random more particularly in downwind.
Will you be back for Edition 2?
We'll be here for edition 2 , I hope more teams will be registered ! :)
